Check Engine Light Diagnosis in Red Wing, MN

If your check engine light came on, the vehicle is telling you it detected a fault. That does not automatically mean the repair will be major, but it does mean the problem should be tested properly. We find the actual cause so you can make an informed repair decision.

A stored trouble code does not tell you which part to replace. It tells us where testing needs to begin. We do not use a code reader as a substitute for diagnosis.

We have dealer-level scan tools for many manufacturers, plus the test equipment to determine whether the cause is electrical, mechanical, or both. That helps avoid paying for parts that were never the problem.

If the light is flashing, the vehicle has detected a problem serious enough that continued driving can cause further damage. Have it checked as soon as possible.

Repairs are backed by our 3-Year/36,000-Mile Nationwide Warranty. Call or text 651-388-1630, or request an appointment online.
